The BeauCoup Project aims at creating solutions to improve how older adults explore and interact with cultural heritage, inside and outside museums and monuments.

Exploring cultural artefacts can have a positive impact on the quality of life of older adults and keeps them socially and cognitively active and connected, thus contributing to successful ageing.

This project is creating solutions to enable various application partners like museums, exhibitors, tourism agencies and municipalities to create and share cultural experiences with older adults.

Three service delivery models cover different usage scenarios: while a mix of analogue and digital artefacts in “The Bag” or “The Box” can be explored in interactive group settings, a digital solution providing interactive guided tours will be delivered by “The Screen”.

BeauCoup will set new standards in bringing culture to the people and connecting them through a shared experience in order to stimulate social interaction and an active life.
